We were awaken at 4:00 in the morning to Cameron screaming his head off and running to our room. Here is the conversation:
"Cameron, what is wrong"
"THE BAD GUYS ARE GETTING ME!" screaming in the hall and waking Kasey up in the process.
"What bad guys?"
"The ones that are on my pillow and I tried clapping them and they pushed me off the bed!"
Chris told him that we are here and that we will protect him and that no bad guys can get him in his bed. I tell Cam to come get into our bed and his whole body was shaking. He cuddled right up to me. After a minute I ask him if he is alright and he just whimpers out "not yet." I felt so bad for the little guy he had never had a nightmare before and he was just so scared.
In the morning we talked to him about it and he said he was "okay." We talked to him again about how we protect him while he sleeps. Hopefully tonight will be a peaceful night sleep.

And He's Off!
Kasey had a big week! He has been getting all the way healthy and is back to working on his latest and greatest projects: walking and talking. Here is a video of his first steps. (FYI: that is a TV remote that he is after and he is fascinated by the buttons.) I can't believe he is walking and that he will be 11 months on Friday! Where has this year gone?
We haven't declared "utton" to be his first word, he also says cat, but he sees both the cat and remote and looks at us for a prompt of what to say. When he says it on his own then we will say it is his first word (besides Mama which he already does some of the time).

He's back!
Kasey is feeling sooo much better. His rash is almost completely gone and his fever has gone way down. He is still a little grumpy, but that is not surprising since he now has Cameron's cough (hopefully it only lasts 2 days like Cameron's!) Here are some pictures of him having some fun!
Here he is getting into the cat's food (it was spilled moments later)...

knocking things off the wall....

pulling the magnets off the fridge.....

Isn't it great to have him back to his old self. I missed him!
