Penguins love whales!

One of my favorite things about being a parent is when you walk into a room and find that your kids have done/left something out that just says that they have been there! Why do I bring this up? I walked into my bedroom after not having been in there for hours and on the floor I find.....

I just had to smile. A few minutes later Cameron walks in. I ask him whats going on and he informs me that the penguins and whales love each other! It just cracked me up.

Today is also Chris's birthday. Happy Birthday! We celebrated with family this last weekend. He got some great Wii games, a few movies, some clothes, Omaha Steaks and Rascal Flatts tickets (with a whole night of babysitting)! When his parents came over Cameron and Grandpa Tractor (as Cameron calls him) did a little boxing (Cameron won).

It's beginning to look a lot like.....

SPRING!!!!!

I walked out to the mailbox this morning and saw this little guy in my yard. Spring is just around the corner!! :)

How we are doing...

After three trips to the doctor, four copays, and four prescriptions of antibiotics, we are finally on the mend! While we are not perfect yet, I hope that we will all being feeling better after we all get 72 hours of antibiotics in us. Kasey is already doing better. The rest of us don't even have 48 hours of medication in us yet, so we are still not doing great. I hope everyone elses families are getting better. I know most of you have just gotten or are just getting over the same thing. Good Luck everyone!

101.9

A nasty cold has made its way through our house. Most of us have gotten over it, but Kasey got the worse of it. He woke up this morning with a 101.9 degree fever. He has had a runny nose, but this was the final straw. So off to the doctor we went. It turns out that Kasey has a double ear infection and is wheezing (had no idea about that since my ears are plugged from my cold). The doctor is hoping he isn't coming down with RSV too (which is going around). Since I haven't heard anyone having a cough that we have been around, the doctor and I are both hoping it is just his cold & ear infection draining (although he did inform me that he is on call all weekend if he starts having trouble). To top it off the poor little guy is dealing with teeth coming in. He got 2 a couple of weeks ago and now another 4 are coming through. I feel so bad for him. I hope everyone else is getting through these colds better than we, or at least Kasey is.
