What a growing boy!!

At Kasey's 4 month appointment the doctors were a little concerned because he had not put on much weight from his 2 month appointment. Well they are not worried anymore. Kasey had his 6 month check-up on the 16th and he weighed 17lbs on the dot. Up almost 4 lbs in 2 months. He is now working on being able to sit up (next is crawling and then I am in trouble). Here are a few pictures I took of Kasey & Cam.

Can I have a milkshake?

So both of my boys have come down with a cold/fever. It doesn't appear to be anything serious. Chris & I were sitting on the couch and Cameron climbs up on Chris and goes "Can I have a milkshake, please?" he then gives Chris a hug and a kiss and follows up with a huge lower lip and "it will make me feel all better." How could we resist? So it was milkshakes all around.
I am also a complete sucker for kids discovering their toes. Cameron completely skipped that stage and I was so disappointed. Kasey however found them and continues to delight in eating them.

Cameron has a wonderful sense of style. He went outside to help Chris mow the lawns. When I went out to talk to Chris this is what met me...you got to love the panda slippers to mow the lawn.

A few odd ends

Chris's best friend, Tim, just had his first baby. Jacob is adorable and has his father's nose. It will be nice that Kasey will have someone to play with as he gets older, although he got a little jealous when I was holding Jacob in the hospital.

We got to see the pirate ship when it was in town. Cameron thought it was cool.

Kasey has hit a couple of milestones lately. He started sleeping through the night part of the time, has rolled over and is working on getting his first tooth. One of his favorite activities is to be in his walker teething on the toys.

Cam was also excited about the first real rain of the year. He wanted to go jump in the puddles. He was soaked by the time we were done, but it was a blast.Last but not least Chris built Cameron a computer using old parts. He absolutely loves it. We have a couple of games for him to play, but if anyone has any ideas for some computer games that are kid friendly let me know. It is funny that he won't sit down at preschool to finish a project, but will sit at the computer for 30 minutes. Oh well at least he will sit down for something now :)
