He still asks when we are going to go see her again!
Then one day it clicked. My boy who hated the water didn't want to get out.
He wanted to play in the water all day.
He even enjoyed going tubing at the lake (future post) and you may be wondering if he ever jumped in by himself..... We went to the water park in November and he loved every second of it! I will post pictures of that in a few days. I am so proud of how far he came! It was amazing!

Swimming
I never realized how different two boys could be. Especially when it comes to the water. This is Kasey....
I know he has a worried look on his face, but that was because he was turned. He then proceeded to go down the slide another 3 million times. He also has an uncanny ability of jumping in just when you are not looking(like answering your other son's question). He gave us a couple of heart stopping moments this summer. He is fearless when it comes to the water.
I have to watch him every second and even then he is prone to doing something that gives me a heart attack! Then we have Cameron. At the beginning of the summer he would cry if we rinsed his hair in the bath. Enter swim lessons. I took him to the free week of lessons. He cried the whole first day! This guy literally walked around with Cameron clung to him for the whole lesson.
This picture is from later in the summer. I knew it may take some time but he needed to get over his fear. We told him that if he could jump into a pool by the end of the summer by himself then we would take him to the water park. So we took it one step at a time and a lot of swim lessons. This was a big step for him. Just putting his nose in the water.
Then he got to the point where he would be willing to dump water on his head.
He started to enjoy his swim lessons and fell in love with one of his instructors.

The Ranch
Last June(I know, but I am trying to get caught up!) we went to Chris's parents ranch. The boys had a great time! They both couldn't get enough of the four wheelers.
It as a fun weekend! It might be time to go back!
This is me going really "fast" with Cam. I think he liked it.
Cameron went on a bunch of tractor rides with Grandpa!
Kasey discovered that Grandpa's tractors are fun too! I think Tom s going to have his hands full the next time we are over there. Oh the joys of sibling rivalry!
Cam went over a day ahead to have a night with the grandparents, but I think he was happy when he saw us.
Kasey enjoyed just walking around after everyone.

It as a fun weekend! It might be time to go back!

Riding a trike
Kasey worked hard this summer to ride his tricycle. He was able to go a little ways by the end of the summer. He worked sooo hard on it.

Cameron hada variety of activities while Kasey was riding. He rode his bike, his scooter and his little tractor that he is way to big for!
